Welcome
I am a self-taught artist. My work often consists of multi-media painting combined with sculpture. Sometimes I incorporate found objects into my pieces.
My creations are often large and 3-dimensional, with social themes and/or mythological allusions from many cultures. My art is sometimes fun, sometimes very serious—even socially provocative, sometimes funny and serious at the same time.
As such, I try to create opportunities for the viewer to explore his or her own diverse reactions through what might be called tragicomic treatment of many of my subjects.
